Since 1993, Friends of the Children—Portland has worked to impact generational change by empowering youth who are facing the greatest obstacles through relationships with professional mentors – 12+ years, no matter what. In 2023 we are celebrating 30 years of walking alongside youth in addition to our successful, long-term model that is now in 29 locations around the country.
